Melissa Sanjeh
Melissa has a passion for re-designing schools and curriculum in order to meet the needs of all learners. As an Implementation Specialist, she works with school teams to rethink curriculum, instruction and environments to provide access for all, using the UDL framework as a tool for redesign.
Melissa brings her experience as a teacher, licensed social worker, school leader and school designer to the work. She has spent much of her career refining personalized instruction, shifting to competency-based models, building trauma-sensitive school environments, implementing social and emotional learning and instituting restorative justice practices for service to off-track youth. She believes strongly in access and equity and has a passion for working with students who have traditionally been marginalized.
